Official Dover Athletic Football Club - Youth Teams - DAFC U16 3 - 0 HERNE BAY U16
DAFC U16 3 - 0 HERNE BAY U16 Paul Evison | Tue 11th May 2010
Dover started the game positively creating chances early on which led to their first goal when Callum MESSITER beat a player and came inside shooting low through the keepers legs from the edge of the box. Messiter then followed up a shot, parried by the keeper and pulled the ball back for Reece BRANDY to put into an empty net to make it 2-0. After more possession from Athletic, Macaulay MURRAY receives the ball 30 yards out and fires a ferocious shot into the top left hand corner to make the Whites 3-0 up at half time. Unfortunately due to a collision involving the Herne Bay keeper in the first half, the result was given to Dover as herne bay forfeited at half time.
One more game left for the U16s next week Sittingbourne away. (third time lucky)
