It didn't take long for Dover to get off the mark when five minutes in Macaulay MURRAY picked the ball up on the left at the half way line and ran diagonally accross skipping past two players and striking the ball sweatly from thirty yards out past the keeper, good start 0-1. Ramsgate then equalised with a strike from outside the box just before half time.
HT 1-1.
Ramsgate then started the second half on top and soon took the lead to make it 2-1. Athletic then made a substitution and brought on Jordan GEALER who gets first to a bouncing through ball from Cameron Morgan to head past the keeper, 2-2. GEALER then got on the end of another through ball and put the ball into the net for the Whites to take the lead 2-3. Dover's fourth came when Tom CHAPMAN put pressure on the Rams defence by blocking a clearance then taking the ball towards goal and slotting it past the keeper, 2-4. Athletic then had another attack that saw GEALER being brought down in the box for a penalty and he converts well for his hat-trick. Final score 2-5.
